Vanaf nu bestaat LaZy TaTeR uit vier personen.

Het uit het noorden van het land afkomstige trio “Lazy Tater” is een muzikant rijker.
Na een aantal gastoptredens van de uit Leiden afkomstige banjospeler Geert van Schoonderwoerd
( bekend van o.a. Jerrycan en Flexibility ) heeft het viertal besloten om samen verder te gaan.
Met zijn ruime ervaring weet Geert zijn razendsnelle virtuositeit af te wisselen met mooie frivole melodieuze capriolen.
Zijn soms dansende banjospel past  verrassenderwijs in bijna het gehele repertoire van de band.
Dus zal de afwisseling van Bluegrass, Folk, Evergreens en Western Swing blijven  bestaan.
Wel is er nu meer gelegenheid om flink wat extra stevige Bluegrass aan het repertoire toe te voegen.
De band denkt ook voorzichtig aan een 2e cd in deze nieuwe combinatie.
De Taters spelen  komend seizoen o.a. in een aantal folkclubs in het westen van het land en in “de Amer” te Amen.

Eindelijk, na lang zwoegen is het ons gelukt onze eerste cd uit te brengen

From now on LaZy TaTeR will be a quartet.

The band "LaZy TaTeR", from the northern part of The Netherlands, added a new member to their band.
After a few stand-ins banjo player Geert van Schoonderwoerd (former member of Jerrycan and Flexibility)
joined the band LaZy TaTeR. Geert resides in Leiden near the Hague.
Geert has a wide musical experience and knows how to vary fast and acurate virtuosity with melodic tricks.
His sometimes dancing banjo playing fits, suprisingly, into almost the complete repertoire of the band.
Therefore the variation of Bluegrass, Folk, Evergreens and Western swing will remain.
Altough there's more opportunity now to add some extra hard driving Bluegrass to the repertoire.
There are plans to release a new CD with the new band combination.
The TaTeRs will perform in some folk clubs in the western part of The Netherlands and in "De Amer" in Amen(NL).


Finally after many efforts we succeeded in releasing our first CD.
